We owned a villa in Javea for over 16 years, which we sadly had to sell in September 2021 due to John’s health problems which meant we were no longer able to travel to Spain. Over the years we had a number of people who looked after our villa and found trying to ensure that everything like repairs, maintenance and dealing with the various bureaucracies inherent in Spain was a constant problem when you live 1500 miles away. These problems went away when we found Property Management Javea to look after our villa. We rented out our villa when we were not using it, and Les and his team maintained the villa in a spotless condition, undertook all the requirements involved with a registered tourist accommodation, and dealt with any issues our guests had in a speedy and professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble for Les and his team and they helped us on numerous occasions with one off issues and annual maintenance. We have had to sell the villa with a heavy heart because of John’s ill health and as we could not travel to Spain during this process Les helped us through many of the difficulties that arose. We approached Property Management Javea for assistance to run a small apartment to let out on touristic licence terms early in 2021. At that time we were having problems setting up registration of the guests as required by the Spanish authorities. There were also a few issues that needed attending to in the apartment. All this was quickly resolved and we went on to successfully let the property out during the months of July and August. We do not live in Spain, so it gives us great peace of mind to know that the property is being checked regularly and that someone can offer us advice as appropriate. It is also good to know that someone is on standby to call should problems arise and that standards are being upheld and procedures correctly followed. Since we took the decision to rent our villa to holiday makers at the start of last year, we have been really pleased with the level of service that Les and Tracey at PMJ have provided. It is reassuring to know that checks are done regularly when the villa is empty and any issues with equipment are resolved before guests arrive. Les recently alerted us to the fact that the tv had stopped working and very quickly sorted a replacement for us, installing it and making sure everything was fine before guests checked in. Any issues or concerns guests may have whilst staying at the property (for example, power cuts) are always dealt with speedily and efficiently, with minimal impact and disruption. We have had very positive feedback from guests, telling us how clean the villa has been on their arrival. Tracey and her housekeeping team are great at personal touches and putting bespoke welcome packs together for guests on request and often at short notice. We feel PMJ have really helped us to run the villa efficiently and without the worry you might normally expect when managing a Spanish property whilst not in Spain ourselves.

Les and his Team have managed our Villa Letting during the summer for the last 2 years. They deal efficiently with all the changeovers including "meet and greet” and booking our guests in to comply with our Tourist Licence. We have a villa in Javea which is a much loved family holiday home. In addition, we rent the villa to guests. The property is managed on our behalf by Property Management Javea (PMJ). They manage all aspects of the villa including guest meet and greet, changeover, cleaning and laundry, vacant inspections and repairs and maintenance. PMJ made all of the arrangements to register the property for rentals and provide the ongoing registration service. On the rare occasions when we or any of our guests have had a problem it has been dealt with speedily and efficiently.
